The Federal Water Quality Association
... is a member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF). Founded in 1928, WEF is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization with members from varied disciplines who work toward the WEF vision of preservation and enhancement of the global water environment. The WEF network includes water quality professionals from 79 Member Associations in more than 30 countries.
FWQA is committed to advancing science and education, disseminating technical information, increasing public understanding, and promoting the creation of sound public policy about the nation's water quality issues. FWQA members worldwide include government executives, engineering professionals, consultants, members of the academic community, and others.
Our theme for this year is "Maximizing Innovation for Water Quality Improvements". We plan to have a great mix of local, national, and international topics during our program this year, so please plan on joining us at our events!

- Our next luncheon will be held on March 20 and will feature Dr. Sudhir Murthy, also of DC Water. Dr. Murthy will be discussing “Maximizing Innovation for Water Quality Improvements with a focus on LIFT.” More information to follow soon.
